THE FACTS OF ISLAM

The fact is that Islam is a simple, reasonable, practical religion, and free from priestcraft and the above charge. It is away of life for the social, moral, and trascendental development of humanity. It does not demand of man to surrender his reasoning faculties, nor does it demand a blind faith in obscure and inexplicable mysteries. It teaches the purest form of monotheism and regards polytheism as an unpardonable sin.
The other fact, Islam (moslems) relation with West have polarized. Continously devastating condition of Palestinians, who have tyrant and unjust authoritizing by Israel (Jew or Zionist). NATO and USA (Jew, Zionist, and Christian) invations on Afghanistan (2002 until now), and Iraq (2003 until now), had destruction and killings of several hundred thousand people (moslem, or Islamist) of Afghanistan and Iraq. Evil treatment of prisoners by USA Military (Jew, Zionist, and Christian) in Abu Ghraib (Iraq region) and Guantanamo (Cuba region) are some of the major factors which have turned the world into a lawless, and unjust global village.
The other of other fact, the New Testament says, in the words of Jesus: First, "And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you for ever" (John 14:16). Second, "But when the comforter is come, whom I will send unto you, from the Father, even the spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me" (John 15:26). Third, "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is expedient for you that I go away, for the if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you. But if I depart, I will send him unto you" (John 16:7). Fourth, "I have yet many things to say unto you, but he can not bear them now. Howbeit when he, the spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth. For he shall not speak of him self. But whatsoever he shall hear, that he shall speak, and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you" (John 16:12-14).
The comforter whose mean on the New Testament is the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the man whose bring the Islamic values from God (Allah) to human being in the universe. All prophets from Adam until Muhammad (peace be upon them) came to preach the same religion, which continued to grow and grow, until it reached perfection at the hand of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Although Islam is regarded as the youngest of all revealed religions, it is not a new religion, but a continuation of the first religion of God (Allah) to man, purged, and purified, time after time, from all human adulterations, and restored to its original purity.

You forgot to mention the part about them blowing people up. And stop quoting the Bible please, every time someone presents a muslim with biblecal truth they reject the word so don't even pretend to accept it. You fprgot to mintion all the verses about killing people for (a)llah that are in the (k)oran.

Here's what I suggest. Either forsake the religion and find the truth, or at least practice it. Go out and blow up some christians. If you don't, then I can't take you seriously as a muslim.

BTW, the "Comfortor" is God's Holy Spirit. The one true God, not (a)llah.

We are all created in God's image. Can we deny that we are brothers and sisters? I think not. I am a Christian, and am ashamed of some crimes that have been committed by so-called Christians, but I will never be ashamed of my God. He is blameless and took upon Himself the sins of the world. We are now into our holy days and will observe Easter on Sunday. It is a wondrous day, when our Lord who was crucified for our sins arose again.

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. God bless.

Oh my, You must be one of those wishy washy muslims that doesn't follow the koran. I suppose in the end that's better though, it keeps more people in one piece if you know what I mean. But just in case you want to know truth, check out this link:

ANy Christian reading that passage, because they have read the rest of the Bible and the context in which it occurs would understand that Jesus is speaking of His own Spirit, the spirit of the Living God, which we were all meant to have living in us an giving us true life. That is what it's really about, having the true life of God dwell in and empower us to be fully human as we were created to be.

As a Christian I am offended by your using my holy scripture as a proof of your own religion, with what is obviously very poor understanding and a lack of time studying it thoroughly or trying to understand it. I suspect you would respond the same if I did so with the Koran. Before you attempt to sway Christians with their own scriptures, I challenge you to read and understand them first.

Aristiono, I am very pleased to have met you. You are correct that Jesus did indeed promise to send the Comforter. However, in John 14:26, He said, "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." You see, the Comforter is the Holy Ghost. And, moreso, the purpose of the Holy Ghost is to witness to the truth of who Jesus is. John 14:17 says, "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

In John 20:22, Jesus "breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost." This could not be said of Muhammad.

Also, in John 16:13-14, "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you." Jesus said that the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of truth would not speak of himself, or on His own authority. His purpose is to glorify Jesus.

In Acts 1:4-5, we read, "And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence." And in verse 8, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." The Holy Ghost was not many days in coming when He said this, and did indeed come at Pentecost just 50 days after the crucifixion. Muhammad did not come for 600 more years.

Aristiono, I am glad you posted these verses and I hope that you will read them and many more verses from both the Old and New Testaments. You are a man of reason, and can make choices. We agree that there is one Creator, and you can love Him and serve Him and enjoy Him forever. I hope we can continue to talk about these things.

Thank you for reading my blog. I have read a few of your posts and they are interesting, although I disagree with much of what you say.

I agree that peace is a goal toward which Christians and Muslims ought to strive. I hope we will have more success with that in the future.

Good luck, and may God bless you and lead you to the Truth that is in Christ.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I have read a few of your posts, and they are interesting, although I disagree with much of what you say.

I do agree that peace ought to be a shared goal for Christians and Muslims. Hopefully we will have more success with that in the future.

God bless you, and I pray that you will someday find the Truth that is in Jesus Christ and His Church...

Hi friend, peace...
Thanks for your comment.
For Thomas, I think peace and truth only on Islamic ways. Colonialism (on 14th - 20th century), and Palestina, Afghanistan, Iraq, Abu Ghraib, and Guantanamo phenomenons has proved, that Jew and Christianity was falling to make world be better.
But, I hope we can be friend.
Thanks and peace...

I have been thinking about this post since you left a comment on my blog many months ago. However, unlike the some others. I am not offended, neither do I wish you ill. I ask the Holy Spirit now to speak to you. I ask the Holy Spirit to bring you into the light of the Truth. In the scriptures below it is clear that the Holy Spirit is really the Spirit of God, not Muhummad. A person can be baptized (filled) with the Spirit of God, but saying that Jesus would baptize someone with Muhammad does not make any sense. God bless you.

John 14:26 (Amplified Bible)

26But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.

Did Muhammad come in Jesus' name? Did he teach others that Jesus is the Christ? If the Father had sent Muhammad in Jesus' name, then he would have taught that Jesus was the Messiah of the world.

Luke 3:16 (ISV)
John replied to all of them, "I am baptizing you with water, but one is coming who is more powerful than I, and I'm not worthy to untie his sandal straps. It is he who will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Did Muhammad do many miracles? Did he walk on water? Did he live to bring glory to God or glory to himself? Think deep, meditate on these things. God said many times of Jesus, "This is my beloved Son..." so how could Muhammad be greater than God's own Son?

I believe that Jesus will come to you.
