THREE FACTS ABOUT ISLAM

First, Islam is a simple, reasonable, practical religion, and free from priestcraft and the above charge. It is a way of life for the social, moral, and transcendental development of humanity. Compare please with evil actions by USA Government in Afghanistan, Iraq, Abu Ghraib, and Guantanamo. So compare please with the king of evil action by Israel Government in Palestine.
Second, Islam does not demand of man and women to surrender his and her reasoning faculties, nor does it demand a blind faith in obscure and inexplicable mysteries. It teach the purest form of monotheism, and regards polytheism as an pardonable sin. Compare please with paganism phenomenon in West civilization, who worshipers of man, money, social status, and materials. Third, all prophets from Adam until Muhammad (peace be upon them) came to preach the same religion, which continued to grow and grow, until it reached perfection at the hand of The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Compare with "the comforter" term in The Holy Bible, The New Testament, John 14:16, 15:26, and 16:12-14.
The New Testament says, in the words of Jesus, "And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you for ever" (look John 14:16).
The New Testament says, in the words of Jesus, "I have yet many things to say unto you, but he cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth. For he shall not speak of him self. But whatsoever he shall hear, that he shall speak, and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you" (look John 16:12-14).
To bring humanity in the world, peoples need the comforter, or the spirit of truth, that is The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who bring Islamic values, or humanity values from God (Allah). The Prophet Muhammad shall not speak of him self, he shall speak of the words of God (Allah).

LOGIKA DEDUKTIF DALAM ISLAM

Logika adalah penalaran, ucapan, atau tulisan seorang manusia yang teratur dan sistematis, sehingga dapat difahami atau dimengerti oleh manusia lainnya. Logika terdiri dari beberapa jenis, yang salah satunya adalah logika deduktif.
Islam merupakan agama yang tidak bertentangan dengan logika. Oleh karena itu, Islam mendorong penganut atau pemeluknya untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan berlogika. Banyak ayat dalam Al Qur'an yang mengajak dan mendorong manusia untuk berpikir, berakal, menggunakan pikiran, atau menggunakan akalnya. Hal ini menjadi dasar bagi manusia untuk terus menerus mengoptimalkan kemampuan berlogika, dalam rangka menggapai ridha Allah SWT.
Salah satu jenis logika (sebagaimana telah disampaikan) adalah logika deduktif, yaitu penarikan kesimpulan yang dilakukan berdasarkan argumen-argumen yang disajikan secara sistematis, yang dimulai dari argumen yang bersifat umum hingga yang bersifat khusus. Sebagai contoh, logika deduktif dapat diterapkan pada saat melakukan upaya untuk memahami posisi Al Qur'an bagi manusia. Untuk itu perhatikan QS.2:2 yang masih bersifat umum; QS.15:9 yang bersifat khusus; dan QS.11:14 yang bersifat lebih khusus.
Cara memahaminya adalah, sebagai berikut: Pertama, QS.2:2 merupakan penjelasan yang bersifat umum, bahwa Al Qur'an merupakan petunjuk bagi orang-orang yang bertaqwa. Kedua, QS.15:9 merupakan penjelasan yang bersifat khusus, bahwa Al Qur'an merupakan petunjuk bagi orang-orang yang bertaqwa, karena ia diturunkan oleh Allah SWT. Ketiga, QS.11:14 merupakan penjelasan yang bersifat lebih khusus, bahwa Al Qur'an merupakan petunjuk bagi orang-orang yang bertaqwa, karena ia diturunkan oleh Allah SWT dengan ilmuNya.
Dengan demikian diketahui, bahwa ada pelajaran logika deduktif dalam Islam. Sebagaimana dicontohkan dalam hal posisi Al Qur'an bagi manusia, bahwa Al Qur'an merupakan petunjuk bagi orang-orang yang bertaqwa, karena ia diturunkan oleh Allah SWT dengan ilmunya.
Pada kesempatan berikutnya, insyaAllah akan dibahas logika-logika lainnya dalam Islam. Sesungguhnya posting ini merupakan kutipan dari buku "The Ultimate Values" (halaman 121-122) yang saya tulis tahun 2006 (setebal 508 halaman), yang saat ini tersimpan di Pesantren Mahasiswa Takwinul Muballighin dengan alamat Dusun Gandok, Desa Condong Catur, Kecamatan Depok, Kabupaten Sleman, Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.

THE SIGHT OF GOD

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) said, that: First, whosoever removes a worldly grief from a beliver, God (Allah) will remove from him/her one of the griefs of the day of judgement.
Second, whosoever alleviates the lot of a needy person, God will alleviate his/her lot in this world and the next.
Third, whosoever shield a moslem, God will shield him/her in this world and the next. God will aid a servant of God so long as the servant aids his/her brother.
Fourth, whosoever follow a path to seek knowledge therein, God will make easy for him/her a path to paradise. No people gather together in of the houses of God and studying it among themselves, without tranquility descending upon them, mercy enveloping them, the angels surrounding them, and God making mention of them amongst those who are with God.
Fifth, whosoever is slowed down on the path to paradise by his/her actions will not be hastened by his lineage.
Who is The Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him)? First, The Prophet Muhammad (peace on him) is a direct descendant of Ishmael, the first son of The Prophet Abraham (peace be on him).
Second, Muhammad was born in Makkah in 570 CE. By the time Muhammad was twenty five, he had become well known in the city for the integrity of his disposition and the honesty of his character. He became known as the trustworthy, and the truthful.
Third, Muhammad was 40 years old, when he was visited by angel Gabriel (peace be on him) received his first message from God. These visits continued for the next 23 years until his death.
Fourth, The Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) only a man. He is only "the comforter" or "the spirit of truth" (look at The New Testament, John 14:16, 15:26, and 16:7), who would guide human beings into all truth.
Fifth, The Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) shall not speak of him self, but shall speak of God words.
Sixth, God has stated, "Truly, the religion on the sight of God is Islam" (QS.3:19).

JANGAN BOROS YAA....

Allah SWT telah berfirman, "Dan jika engkau berpaling dari mereka, karena engkau menginginkan rahmat Tuhanmu, sebagai sesuatu yang engkau harapkan, maka berkatalah kepada mereka dengan perkataan yang menyenangkan" (lihat QS.17:28).
QS.17:28 merupakan ayat dalam Al Qur'an (firman Allah SWT) yang memberi informasi pada manusia dalam berpikir, bersikap, bertindak, dan berperilaku dalam konteks berinteraksi dengan individu-individu yang boros.
Boros tidaklah hanya menyangkut hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan uang, melainkan segenap energi dan potensi yang ada pada diri manusia. Seorang manusia yang terlalu banyak bicara, juga berpeluang disebut manusia yang boros, jika kata-kata yang keluar dari mulutnya tidak berisi informasi dan ajakan pada manusia lain untuk menjadi orang yang bertaqwa kepada Allah SWT.
Seorang manusia yang giat bekerja, atau tekun menghabiskan sebagian besar waktunya bagi pekerjaannya, juga berpeluang disebut manusia yang boros, jika kesibukan yang menghabiskan waktunya itu semata-mata diperuntukkan bagi pengabaian nilai-nilai Islam.
QS.17:28 mengajarkan manusia agar berpikir, bersikap, bertindak, dan berperilaku tepat dalam menghadapi manusia boros. QS.17:28 mengajarkan agar manusia (yang tidak boros) berkenan berkomunikasi dengan manusia boros.
Komunikasi dibangun dalam konstruksi yang menyenangkan secara proporsional, yaitu suatu komunikasi yang sepanjang memungkinkan (tidak melanggar syariah dan tidak berpeluang merugikan) dibangun dalam suasana dan substansi yang menyenangkan. Dalam prakteknya, dapat dilakukan perbincangan yang mampu mendorong para pihak mengingat kembali nilai-nilai Islam, yang wajib diperjuangkan oleh manusia.

WORSHIPPERS OF GOD

The core of moslems identity are their status as worshippers of God (Allah). God said through The Holy Qur'an (51:56), that God have only created human (man and women) that they may serve (worship) God (Allah). This is make every moslems are focused to create a benefit for the universe, or to create humanity in the world.
Now, compare with the act of West Government (USA, NATO, and Israel) who destruction of humanity in the world. Look at this fact: First, continously devastating condition of Palestinians, who have robbered their land by Israel (the tyrant and unjust and ilegal authoritizing). Second, USA and NATO invations on Afghanistan (2002 until now) and Iraq (2003 until now) had destruction and killings of several hundred thousand moslems people of Afghanistan and Iraq. Third, evil treatment of prisoners by USA Military in Abu Ghraib (Iraq, 2004) and in Guantanamo (Cuba Region, 2003 until now) are some of the major factors which have turned the world into a lawless and unjust.
Thought, attitude, action, and behavior of USA, NATO, and Israel government has destruction and killings several hundred thousands moslems people of the world. This is the fact, that humanity are fall in the world. God (Allah) has stated in The Holy Qur'an (5:48), "And to thee. We have sent The Book (The Holy Qur'an) in truth. This Qur'an confirming the scripture that came before it, and a witness over it."
The Holy Qur'an confirming, that The Comforter on The Holy Bible (The New Testament, John 14:16 and 15:26 and 16:7) is The Prophet Muhammad, who bring Islamic values to create humanity in the world. The Islamic values respect of human life, as The Holy Qur'an lays down, "Whoseover kills a human being without any reason, like man slaughter or corruption on earth, it is as though he had killed all mankind" (QS.5:32).
If we compare The Holy Qur'an lays down, with The USA, NATO, and Israel government behavior in the world (which based their religion), we know that the world need Islamic values, because humanity had fallen in the world by the act of USA, NATO, and Israel government.
The world need humanity, the world need The Comforter, the world need The Prophet Muhammad, and the world need Islamic values (look The New Testament, John 14:16 and 15:26 and 16:7).

DOA BUAT PEJUANG MUSLIM AFGHANISTAN

Assallamu'alaikum Wr. Wb.
Kepada yang saya hormati, para pembaca blog "Sosiologi Dakwah", di manapun Anda berada.
Dengan hormat.
Berdasarkan informasi dari berbagai media massa (televisi dan surat kabar harian), kita ketahui bahwa saat ini militer Pakistan, atas perintah para petinggi pemerintahan dan militer Pakistan, sedang membabi buta menyerang para pejuang muslim Afghanistan, yang sesungguhnya sedang berjuang membebaskan Afghanistan dari penjajahan. Saat ini Afghanistan sedang dijajah oleh kekuatan Komunitas Iblis Internasional sebagaimana dimaksud dalam QS.2:120, yaitu Amerika Serikat, NATO, dan para sekutunya. Pemerintahan Afghanistan saat ini adalah pemerintahan boneka hasil karya dan untuk diabdikan pada kepentingan Komunitas Iblis Internasional.
Pada awalnya tidak ada masalah antara Pakistan dengan pejuang muslim Afghanistan, namun atas bujukan Komunitas Iblis Internasional, beberapa kali militer Pakistan menyerang pejuang muslim Afghanistan yang berada di perbatasan Afghanistan - Pakistan. Pada awalnya pula, pejuang muslim Afghanistan dapat menahan diri dan menghindari pertempuran dengan Pakistan. Namun karena terus menerus diserang oleh militer Pakistan, maka akhirnya pejuang muslim Afghanistan melakukan perlawanan terhadap Pakistan. Kondisi ini kemudian dijadikan alasan oleh para petinggi pemerintahan dan militer Pakistan untuk menghancurkan pejuang muslim Afghanistan.
Oleh karena itu, sebagai muslim, dan sebagai orang yang faham tentang kejahatan Komunitas Iblis Internasional, sebagaimana telah diterangkan oleh Allah SWT dalam QS.2:120, maka marilah kita memohon kepada Allah SWT agar berkenan meridhai perjuangan dan ikhtiar para pejuang muslim Afghanistan. Semoga Allah SWT juga berkenan memperkuat para pejuang muslim Afghanistan dengan kekuatan, yang boleh jadi tidak difahami oleh manusia.

HOMO ISLAMICUS

Western classical economics is based on the idea of unlimited needs of individuals who face limited resources. The classical homo economicus is a rational and calculating person who seeks to maximize his happiness (utility). Individuals search for happiness is represented by an emotionless cost - benefit analysis of their decisions. More importantly, happiness is usually measured by meterial means.
Many cases were give many evidence that "material means" (natural resources) had turned the world into a lawless, and unjust, and had destruction moslems region, and killing of several hundred thousand moslems people. Look at this evidence: First, continously devastating condition of Palestinians, who have robbered their land by Israel (the tyrant, unjust, and ilegal authorizing) since 1948. Second, USA and NATO invation on Afghanistan (since 2002 until now) and Iraq (since 2003 until now), and create "puppet government" in Afghanistan an Iraq, had destruction moslems village and killings of several hundred thousand moslems people of Afghanistan and Iraq. Third, evil treatment of prisoners by USA Military in Abu Ghraib in Iraq (2004), and Guantanamo in Cuba region (since 2003 until now) are some of the major factors which have turned the world into a lawless, and unjust.
Thought, attitude, action, and behavior of USA, Israel, and NATO government to destruction moslems region, and killing several hundred thousand moslems people of the world, have described about their religion quality. For this, God (Allah) punish their with economic collapse in 2008. The Holy Qur'an is explicit in this regard as God (Allah) has stated, "Truly, the religion on the sight of Allah is Islam" (Qur'an 3:19).
In another verse of The Holy Qur'an, God (Allah) has stated, "And whosoever desire a religion other that Islam, never will it accepted of him/her, and in the hereafter he/she will be in the ranks of those who are lost" (Qur'an 3:85). God (Allah) has stated in The Holy Qur'an, "And to thee. We have sent The Book (The Holy Qur'an) in truth. This Qur'an confirming the scripture that came before it, and a witness over it" (Qur'an 5:48).
Islamic economics, unlike its Western counterpart, is a value driven discipline replete with moral values that limits individual's consumption, and imposes significant social and religious responsibilities on individuals as guardian of the natural environment for future generations. Islamic economics is a value driven discipline. Individual moslem's choices are subordinate to the collective interests of a larger Islamic community. Accordingly, the collectivist social and religious norms of Islam guide the economic behavior of individual moslems. Hence, homo Islamicus, unlike its counterpart homo economicus, must be a paragon of values.
Islamic economics begins with the abundance of resources and assumes the limited needs of individuals. Accordingly, the problem of scarcity in classical economics is due to unnatural assumption of unlimited needs created by artificial means such as advertising. Islam imposes legal and moral restrictions on totality of human behavior, including individual's needs. Islam as a comprehensive way of life, embraces the totality of moslem's conducts, including their economic transactions. Individual moslem's freedom is always bounded by his/her social and religious responsibilities.
Moslems are free, but they a responsible to God (Allah) and other moslems for their actions. As a result, freedom and responsibility are the two sides of one coin in Islam. Social and religious responsibilities are the constraints imposed on moslems behavior, including their economic behavior. Islamic norms of behavior such as justice (Qur'an 5:8), moderation (Qur'an 17:29), charity (Qur'an 57:7), and waste avoidance (Qur'an 7:31) are the restriction that are meant to change the innate selfish nature of man to altruistic and compassionate economic behavior.
Hence, homo Islamicus, unlike its counterpart homo economicus, must be a paragon of values.

BERSATU PILIH PRESIDEN DAN WAKILNYA

Alhamdulillaahi rabbil 'alamiin (segala puji bagi Allah, Tuhan semesta alam). Inilah kata, ucapan, dasar pikir, sikap, dan landas tindakan, serta dasar perilaku Umat Islam, ketika berhasil menyelesaikan Pemilu Legislatif dengan menghadirkan partai-partai berbasis Islam dalam kelompok Sepuluh Besar Partai Politik.
Selanjutnya, Umat Islam hendaknya dapat kembali menyatukan tekad untuk memilih Presiden dan Wakil Presiden pada Pemilu Presiden dan Wakil Presiden tanggal 21 September 2009. Oleh karena itu, Umat Islam patut bersyukur kepada Allah SWT, karena PPP yang sebelumnya diberitakan bergabung dalam "Koalisi Jumbo", ternyata tidaklah bergabung pada koalisi parlementer tersebut. Berita ini dapat dilihat di "Kompas.Com" di http://nasional.kompas.com yang diposting tanggal 1 Mei 2009.
Dengan demikian terbuka peluang koalisi antara PKS, PAN, PPP, PKB dan partai berbasis Islam lainnya untuk mengusung (mendukung) calon presiden dan calon wakil presiden. PKS, PAN, PPP, PKB dan partai berbasis Islam lainnya berkewajiban untuk memperjuangkan tegaknya nilai-nilai Islam di Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia.
Nilai-nilai Islam adalah nilai-nilai kebaikan yang dibutuhkan oleh umat manusia, yang menolak segala bentuk kemaksiatan (kejahiliahan kuno mapun kejahiliahan modern), dan mendorong diterapkannya segala bentuk kebajikan. Penegakan nilai-nilai Islam atau nilai-nilai kebaikan merupakan sesuatu yang sulit, karena mereka yang menentang Islam dan kaum Islam phobia akan segera mengeluarkan jurus fitnah, seolah-olah nilai-nilai Islam itu buruk buat Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia. Oleh karena itu Umat Islam perlu bersatu, baik yang di dalam parlemen (partai politik), maupun yang di luar parlemen (organisasi massa). Tujuannya sama, yaitu menegakkan nilai-nilai Islam di Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia, sebagai wujud kontribusi optimal Umat Islam bagi negaranya (Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia).
Umat Islam pernah mengalami beratnya perjuangan ketika mengawal salah satu pasal dalam Undang-Undang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional, yang menyatakan bahwa peserta didik berhak mendapat pendidikan agama yang sesuai dengan agama yang dianutnya, yang diajarkan oleh guru yang seagama dengan peserta didik tersebut. Perjuangan ini alot karena ada partai politik yang menentang pasal ini. Padahal bila tidak ada pasal ini, maka akan membahayakan akidah Umat Islam yang menjadi peserta didik.
Umat Islam di beberapa daerah juga pernah difitnah oleh partai politik di DPR-RI, yang menyebut Peraturan Daerah yang mensikapi kemaksiatan atau Perda Anti Maksiat, sebagai Perda Syariah. Akibatnya, partai politik tersebut merasa mendapat alasan untuk membatalkan perda tersebut. Namun dengan perlawanan dan penjelasan yang gigih dari beberapa partai berbasis Islam, realitas sesungguhnya dapat diungkapkan, bahwa yang dikeluarkan oleh beberapa daerah tersebut merupakan Perda Anti Maksiat.
Berdasarkan pengalaman-pengalaman tersebut, maka Umat Islam perlu bersatu dalam memilih presiden dan wakil presiden Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia, pada tanggal 21 September 2009. Hal ini penting, agar Umat Islam tidak terkecoh oleh manuver kelompok Islam phobia. Semoga Allah SWT berkenan meridhai...
